Company/Agency: Paradigm Year: 2023-2025

Winter 2025

This issue was crafted with a focus on clear visual hierarchy, polished layout systems, and strong brand cohesion. I incorporated full-bleed imagery, a custom timeline, and tailored iconography to lead readers through SLU’s rich history and ongoing contributions. Consistent grid frameworks and thoughtful typography supported legibility, while graphic accents and strategic color use reinforced the University’s visual identity in print.

Summer 2024

With four additional spreads, the expanded format opened space for striking photography, refreshed graphic elements, and impactful pull quotes that enhanced storytelling. For the feature piece, I established a distinct design direction—utilizing expressive typography, original layout compositions, and supporting visuals—to differentiate it from recurring content and create a dynamic focal point.

Winter 2024

This issue took a conceptual approach by linking each of the University’s core values to a specific brand color. By pairing values with custom icons and distinct hues, the design strengthened thematic clarity and helped guide readers through each section. The result was a visually unified experience that underscored SLU’s mission and brought structure to editorial content.

Summer 2023

The redesigned Grand Rounds introduced SLU Blue and Rooftop Teal as foundational colors, establishing a signature visual tone for future volumes. The design emphasized the University’s seven strategic goals using vibrant color-coded sections, iconography, and illustrations drawn from both the SLU brand and medical imagery—creating a clean, engaging, and institutionally grounded publication.
