Print/Annual Report Design
SLU SCHOOL OF BUSINESS
At Saint Louis University’s Richard A. Chaifetz School of Business, a century-long tradition of academic excellence meets real-world experience. By blending business theory with practical application, the School equips students to lead with confidence and drive meaningful change through innovation, inclusion, and impact. To reflect this mission, they turned to print—seeking annual reports that would set them apart as a business institution committed to creating change.

2023 Annual Report
For the 2023 edition, I took a bolder, more contemporary approach to interpreting the University’s visual identity. Instead of line work, graphic blocks in SLU Blue, Grand Blue, Fountain Blue, and vibrant Oriflamme Orange were used to anchor each spread and draw focus to core content areas. This shift in layout strategy allowed for greater visual impact and clarity. To add depth without overwhelming the page, subtle fleur-de-lis patterns were layered into backgrounds, providing texture that nodded to SLU’s heritage while maintaining balance with the report’s strong photography and clean typography.
2022 Annual Report
The 2022 report built on the University’s established brand identity while introducing refined design elements unique to the Chaifetz School. Traditional SLU colors were paired with custom design motifs, creating a visual language that felt both familiar and fresh. Grand Blue, Fountain Blue, and College Church Gray served as dominant hues, used in structured color blocks to organize content and highlight key information. Fine line art extended across spreads to unify the layout, guiding the reader’s eye fluidly from one story to the next and reinforcing a sense of movement and connectivity throughout the report.
